Return and Refund Policy

At RootBeacon, we want you to love your purchase. If you're not completely satisfied, we offer two protections on every order: our 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee and our 90-Day RootBeacon Guarantee.
30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
If you're not satisfied with your RootBeacon for any reason, you can return it within 30 days of receipt for a full refund of the product price.
We understand you may need to actually try the product in your plants to know if it's right for you. Used items in good condition are eligible for return. We just ask that returned items be reasonably clean and complete.
To initiate a return:
- Email team@rootbeacon.com with your order number and the reason for return
- We'll respond within one business day with return instructions and a prepaid return shipping label
- Pack the item and drop it off with the carrier indicated on your return label
- Once we receive the returned item, your refund will be processed within 3-5 business days
Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Depending on your bank or card issuer, the refund may take an additional 3-7 business days to appear on your statement.
90-Day RootBeacon Guarantee
If your RootBeacon device fails to function properly within 90 days of receipt due to a manufacturing or material defect, we will replace it at no cost to you. To initiate a warranty claim, email team@rootbeacon.com with your order number and a brief description of the issue (a photo or short video is helpful).
The 90-Day RootBeacon Guarantee covers defects in materials and workmanship. It does not cover damage from accident, misuse, modification, or use outside of the recommended conditions (such as freezing temperatures, hydroponic systems, or in-ground planting).
What is not eligible for return or refund
- Items returned more than 30 days after receipt (unless covered by warranty)
- Items returned without a return authorization or return shipping label
- Items that have been damaged through misuse, accident, or modification
- Replacement sensors that have been used or installed
- Wholesale and commercial orders, which are subject to separate terms outlined in our wholesale agreements
Damaged or defective on arrival
If your order arrives damaged or defective, email us at team@rootbeacon.com within 14 days of receipt with photos of the damage and your order number. We'll send a replacement immediately at no cost — no need to return the damaged item unless we specifically request it.
